That’s why REACT focuses on solving one problem exceptionally well, in a way that adapts to how each person wants to use it.
The REACT Trigger System delivers audio-visual, proximity-triggered notifications and real-time information at everyday locations, like bus stops, by activating public audio (talking displays) to digital bus stop singage. For people with sight loss, this turns information that would otherwise only be available visually into something they can access independently, the moment they arrive.

On 28th August 2026, following a duty introduced under the Bus Services Act 2025, the DfT (Department for Transport) published guidance requiring LTAs (local transport authorities) to detail the existing accessibility features of their local bus network and outline specific actions to help disabled passengers travel safely, independently, and in reasonable comfort. Accessible information at the bus stop is an essential element of Better Bus Stops, and of DfT’s pending guidance on safer, more accessible bus stopping places.
The React Trigger System, supported by React Beacons and our Bus Passenger-to-Driver Communication feature (more information), are prime examples of such accessibility features, designed with and for disabled passengers.
